I’m a member of The International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
I received my Diploma of Holistic Aromatherapy from the Tisserand Institute in 1996, and went on to run a practice at the Portland Hospital in London offering aromatherapy and yoga for women in pregnancy.
I also trained to be an infant massage teacher with the International Association of Infant Massage in 1998, and in 1999 I returned to the Tisserand Institute to teach aromatherapy in pregnancy on their diploma course and Essential Oil Therapeutics. I am currently teaching on the Aromatherapy Diploma at Neal’s Yard and teach massage at The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy.
Baby massage is such a lovely way to enhance the bonding process, bringing a sense of calm and relaxation to both you and your baby. Massage also helps to develop babies muscles, improves sleep patterns, teaches social behaviours, language and movement.
As well as our skin care products, we offer a baby massage DVD with a number of short films giving instruction to all the best techniques for baby massage. From setting the mood, illustrating the movements, to complete a relaxing bonding time for parents and babies. Read more here or go straight to the shop.
