Organic September Soil Association logoBrowsing through the list of ingredients in a product can be a daunting experience.

Most of it looks like it’s been written in a different language and, anyway, why has it been included at all?

Most manufacturers will give you a clear idea of what’s in their products because they are nice people, others because its the law to do so. In the beauty and cosmetics industry this is pretty much down to the individual company. Just as a little clue, we’re some of the nice guys!

But while the long words in tiny print are there to inform you, we know they often leave people confused.

So, as part of the Soil Association’s Organic Beauty Week (8-14 September), we have produced this A to Z of all the ingredients we use in our natural and organic baby skincare products and where you’ll find them. We hope you find it useful.
